NumBots levels vs national curriculum

Hello

I tried to google but failed to find any results. Could someone pls explain to me how levels in NumBots are related to the national curriculum?

I would like to know for example that by mid Yr1 a child should be around Steel level, by the end of Yr1 Glass level etc.

I am not necessarily interested in where other children are as this would be subject to individual abilities.

They don't really match at all. It only targets mental arithmetic so isn't full curriculum coverage. The idea is that most children should be able to complete the programme by the end of year 2.

Some children who complete the numbers programme might not reach age related expectations at the end of year 2, if their subject knowledge or problem solving is poor.

Some children who struggle with some levels might be at or above age related at the end of year 2, if they have good compensation for poor mental arithmetic.
