i am a parent there and have been for many years. I’m happy enough. I mainly chose it for the admissions link to the secondary.

academically it’s strong. many of the teachers are lovely. It’s not the most welcoming school for parents who are kept at arms length. I have never found the parental community that friendly either but I’m not a shm and maybe if I was it would be easier but it’s not like John Betts or other local schools where everyone goes camping together and seems well bonded. Maybe it’s too big for that.

Very little drama, school plays etc. that might get better now all the building work is done. Art is strong. Music not as strong as you would expect as it’s a music specialist school. Sport is good for a state primary.
