Space hoppers at school.

Is that what you still call those bouncy things?

Anyway... I drove past an infant school the other day and saw children having just the best time bouning around the playground. I thought it looked really fun, and wanted to sugest it to the head of DS's school.

Does anyones DC's have space hoppers at school?

Is there any argument against them, apart from how to store them?

We don`t at our school
They sound GREAT fun

Dd's school has some - they have stacks of brilliant equipment for playtimes, lunchtimes and golden time.

They do have a large out-building for storing them though (the old outside toilet block).

We have them as part of a Huff and Puff scheme.

Kids love them

We have space hoppers - and we're getting some more. They are brilliant. The parent spacehopper race on Sports Day has to be seen to be believed!

Ours have space hoppers. I was gobsmacked - and jealous - my mum would never let me have one.

my dad tried to fix it, but it was never the same

I'm stunned and pleased they have them.

Mine was my favourite toy. I painted a face on him and everything.

I'm surprised as surely the health and safety brigade should be outlawing them
