Brown books : What to read after Time Chronicles?

DS has absolutely loved Biff and Chip and is sad it's ending. He's a good reader but little motivation and likes the structure and predictability.

Any recommendations for a set where he can get to know a new set of characters? He quite likes old fashioned books

If he likes old fashioned books he might like Enid Blyton’s Secret Seven. There’s loads of them and characters to get to know.

Ds3 really liked these books by CJ Busby. There’s only 4 in the series, which is a shame but they really captured his imagination.

Edited to remove my completely irrelevant info on the Time Chronicles which you have in your OP!

I’m really glad he likes them. Ds went on to have a Harry Potter phase and got all the audio books. He read and re read them dozens of times. In between, it was diary of a Wimpy Kid.
