Hello all
We are about to put in an application for our daughter to start reception in September 2025. We are almost equal distance from both the West Byfleet infant school and Pyrford primary school but are torn on which would suit her. I am aware that Pyrford has recently had another Outstanding Ofsted report so it might seem like a no brainer.
Our daughter is the slightly anxious but chatty type. She is intelligent but o worry as she's the type to become more anxious when others around her are doing well, if that makes sense.
Have visited both schools and Pyrford felt more 'formal' and I got a slightly unfriendly vibe from parents compared to those whose children go to WB.
WB feels a bit more 'normal' like mixed abilities and backgrounds but I am just not sure. It's so hard and I am sure we will get out first choice based on criteria. I appreciate this is very subjective but would value anyone's insights please? Many thanks
