Read Write Inc Spelling

Can anyone tell me whether the first edition of the Read Write Inc Spelling Handbook gives all the activities you need to teach spelling? Just wondered if any teachers here might know. We’re moving abroad and I wanted to buy the RWI spelling programme to work through with DD, but you need to be a school to subscribe to the new RWI resources so I’m a bit stuck.

How old is your child/what year group?

Are you set on RWI, it isn't my favourite.

I’m not set on RWI (also really like Jolly Grammar but she hasn’t had it at school). I can see the RWI phonics has been helpful for her (supplemented with other things). Just trying to work out what I could use to teach spelling on my own when we move given English spelling is tricky.

I do really like Twinkle, which is an online teachers website for £7.99 a month.

We also use Read with Oxford and Oxford Reading Tree as I prefer it to RWI.
