ClassDojo / Dojo Island

My DS's primary school introduced ClassDojo at the start of this school year, I know there's a bit of a debate around the Dojo award system but I wanted to ask specifically about 'Dojo Island' the in-app game. For any ClassDojo users here, do your kids play on Dojo Island? What's your opinion on it and does it offer anything beneficial / educational or is it just another computer game (like Minecraft)?

Mine has a quick go on it sometimes. It's just a dojo monster that you walk round collecting coconuts or flowers, I don't think it's terribly exciting but he's happy enough having a go for 15 minutes.

My DC enjoy it now and again. It's pretty inoffensive. Sometimes they see classmates playing at the same time which they find quite exciting. I don't think it's that educational but that's not why they play it.

I don't mind dojo on the whole but wouldn't pay the sub for it.
