What percentage chance do we have to get a place on waiting list with 3 kids in a class of 60 pupils from now on? For year 3, Anyone experience of this situation? ( LA don’t tell me the waiting list position) Thank you.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Ate the 3 kids different year groups, or triplets?
If triplets then if one gets a space then others may get in under excepted child rules.

If different year groups, is there sibling priority? If so when one gets a place the others will move up their lists.

Otherwise it will depend on your area. Some places have transient populations, others very static.

I think that's impossible to answer.
We have no idea who else is on the waiting list or how likely a space would come up as this varies hugely school to school.

I think op means there are three kids on wl but not known whether their dc is 1, 2 or 3. The answer depends on age (y3 could take over 30 per class) , others leaving school, any additional wl joiners who may take priority as siblings etc or who may have an ehcp and get a place taking the numbers over 60 (in which case 2 may need to leave before any offer is made). Some schools rarely have in year places come up especially below year 3 .

3 kids including mine on waiting list just for year 3 class. The school have 2 classes in each year group, 60 pupils in every year group. LA don’t give any information about waiting list ! Unknown situation! Very frustrating !

Waiting list places can change which is why your position is not communicated to you.
For example, my child is currently on a waiting list for a school we are slightly out of catchment for. If a child who lives in the catchment area joins the waiting list today, we will be leapfrogged as that is the school’s admission criteria.
