You’d ideally want to be on the East side of Guildford in the Boxgrove triangle, Merrow or Burpham as they are in the catchment areas for good state secondary schools - George Abbot and St Peters (selective Catholic). The feeder primaries in the area are good too - Boxgrove, St Thomas (selective Catholic), Burpham and Merrow. Central Guildford is good too but ONLY if you can get your child into Guildford County secondary school as Christ College does not have a great reputation. Plenty of great private schools too if that’s your thing - RGS boys, Tormead girls, GHS girls.
