Wimbledon High School - ballot for Reception 2025

Did anyone else receive results from the ballot today for Reception 2025? Does everyone go on the waiting list who doesn't get an offer?

Yes we did and they told us that our DD did not make the intial ballot. Not sure what that means, i think DD goes automatically on waitlist. But very confused on how the ballot worked. We are now considering Surbiton High school /Sutton High School/Putney high school.

Any views on what is the ranking among those? All three seem the same to us with Sutton having better facilities and Putney and Surbiton being ranked academically.

We are also now considering Putney! Surbiton and Sutton not as much as too faraway for us. Putney I imagine is competitive for the assessment and probably a lot of switch over from Wimbledon now that the ballot results are out... I think you can't go wrong with any of the 3 schools. I'd say maybe academically it would go Putney first, followed by Surbiton and then Sutton.
