unharmed is a word though isn't it?

singersgirl · 23/04/2008 09:53

Well, 'unharmed' is. But I don't think so, either. Still, it's easy to spell (if non-existent).

MummyDoIt · 23/04/2008 09:53

Er no, surely that's not a real word. You can harm someone but you can't then undo the harm. You can 'cure' or 'rectify' but 'unharm', no.

Cappuccino · 23/04/2008 09:55

I googled it

I found a message on a forum thread saying 'my 7 year old has been asked to learn this but I am not sure it is a word'

no joke

No, not a word.

If it constitues proof of sorts, I just checked it in the SOWPODS Scrabulous dictionary and it said 'UNHARM is NOT a valid word' and that would have it if it was.
