No Outsiders Andrew Moffat

Hi,

Our school is about to bring in the No Outsiders scheme, other parents and I, have researched Andrew moffat and the 'no outsiders' and it has raised concerns.

We believe as parents our children are too young to be learning about gender ideology and feel that kids in primary school do not need to be taught this and it should in fact be left to us parents to decide when their child is ready for this topic for example. When they ask the question, they are ready for the answer.

There has been many public profiles from the LGBTQAI+ that have come out and agreed children do not need to be learning this as it is confusing, some even went on to say, it's confusing for them as adults with being a part of the LGBTQ+ community, let alone being a young child.

The fact that as parents we can not 'opt out' is alarming, I am very open with my child and I support the LGBTQ+ community, so when my child asks the question, they will be ready for an answer.

I can't help but think Andrew moffat has brought religion and race into his no outsiders scheme for his own benefit, I also believe the reason it has been slowly pushed into schools is because they know it will cause concerns being raised.

Is there anything us parents can do where we can remove our child from this scheme?

Can anyone shed some light on this subject?

Our children all play nicely together, they do not point out any differences with their peers, the classrooms are very diverse.

Kids are not born racists or discriminatory until an issue is made of it and this is what this subject has the potential to do.

People are so much more accepting now than ever before but I have noticed that because it is being shoved down people's necks, things are starting to go backwards and starting to cause a divide, which is a shame for the LGBTQ+ community.
