Primary school in Barnet EN5

Hi everyone. We are about to move to Barnet and we are looking for primary school for my Daughter who will start reception next September. We have visited few schools ( whiting, Livingstone and foulds) but the one nearest to us is Underhill primary school which we have a tour next week. Im wondering if anyone has any experience with this school? There are mixed reviews online but all are from few years ago. I would love to know of more recent feedbacks.

What about christ church (down the road from foulds)?

I didn't know about this school. We are not in catchment for foulds or really any other schools that we have visited so far. But I know we can choose 6 schools so Im hoping my daughter gets into the one we like the most. Im a first time mum so everything is new 😇🤷‍♀️ also Christ church is a religious school, my question is do you have to have the same religion to get in?

My DD didn’t go to Underhill, but I do know it’s received a lot of input over the past few years to help it improve.
When I was looking at schopls nearby, I really liked Whitings and Foulds (though the catchment is about 10 square feet). My DD ended up at Danegrove, which may be a bit far for you.

Thanks for the reply. I really like Whiting hill too. I love the outdoor green space and indoor looked modern . staff seemed enthusiastic and pupils were well behaved and happy. I think when I do a tour for underhill next week I can have a feeling of both school and the community which hopefully can make me decide on how to list the schools 🤞🏼

Hello - my son might be attending Underhill Primary school this year as we liked the feel of the school and it’s the closest to us. It seems to still carry a bad reputation from years ago and I wondered if anyone could tell us what their current experience is with the school? Thanks!
