Moving child school

Hi there,

1st ever post. Our little boy is in P.4. We live in an ok area but would like to move to an area that has a better school.

For those of you who are from the Glasgow area - we are thinking either bearsden or helensburgh.

I am worried that moving will disrupt our boy too much, as he can be quite sensitive and gets anxious with change.

Would I be doing the wrong thing by moving him? Is he really going to get a higher standard of education?

I also worry that by moving to a better area we couldn't keep up with all the holidays and material items other children from wealthier families have.

Does anyone have experience of this?

Trying to do the best for our little one.

There are loads of great schools in the area of Helensburgh. children move all the time so I wouldn't worry too much, your wee one is at an age where they meet new people all the time so I'm sure will make friends easily. I hope you managed to get sorted. If you are ever looking for dance, gymnastics or cheerleading classes please do pop us a message or check out our social media this is also a really good way of getting them used to new enviroments and friends🌈
