Just curious on how accurate the exam paper plus English Comprehension papers are? They do seem on the difficult side….we are at a pre- prep that gets excellent results at a number of top schools like Highgate, City, Westminster, yet the comprehensions they do are significantly easier.
EPP texts and questions are, I would say, much much harder….

Hi Cap0218. Did you ever get a response to this? I know you the 7+ as I was following the 7+ conversations. What was your experience from it - any advise? Is tutoring really critical? Am preppingmy DD for WUS and wondered if just KS1 curriculum is enough.

I would say 90% of the children who get into the top top schools at 7+ are tutored, and with a tutor that has experience of getting kids into these schools.

Thank you for the honest answer. To be fair, WUS wants KS1 curriculum covered and of course our prep will not v9ver3d host by October so I will need to c9ver that somehow. @Caps0218 can I ask you re Prose writing? May I ask what a good semtrmcd would be in those? I saw what some tutors suggest and its impossible difficult- hence asking a fellow trusted parent. Thsnks

Yes, EPP's papers are extremely high quality and worth the £20-£50.
