she has just moved up another level. teacher says she can keep the books a couple of days now if she isnt sure.

but judging by todays reading efforts after school we will be changing daily again.

dd2 is sooo determined with her reading, its very sweet and lovely. she really enjoys it.

i think her teacher knows she wont be keeping the books more than a day.

may seem silly to be lol-ing, but this comment has been said a few times last term, and each time the books have been changed daily.

what was the comment?

LOL; we had that comment a lot last year too. This year DD does sometimes take a couple of days over the longer books, but only if she has been busy with other stuff, such as other homework. More often than not it is still daily.

sorry, comment was 'you can keep these books for longer'

dd2 has had a new book every day except one when we were busy and she didnt get to read it. on monday, if she changes her book after the weekend, she is up another level.

she is struggling a bit as she cant say her 's' in the middle of words, and it has slowed her down a little bit this week, but not by much lol.

lots of lovely comments this week from 3 different teachers an TA's, plus a certificiate for great written work as well. for a child who has mild speech problems and cant hold a pencil correctly, she is doing amazingly well.
