I live in Chertsey and my daughter starts reception next year. I would like to send her to the best private school around me, what are my options?

There are loads, subscribe to the Good Schools Guide. St George's Weybridge is probably the most convenient, followed by Notre Dame at Cobham.
The state primary schools are good too, you could wait until she is older to go private. When you look at the fees on the schools websites don't forget to add on up to 20% vat.

Your best options are to visit as many schools as possible both state and private.

Try to assess which ones will suit your child’s personality and academic ability.

Will be easy to get to several times a day for maybe the next seven years.

Offer what you need in terms of wrap around care, holiday club provision, extra curricular activity.

Try to gauge whether a private school will be a going concern in the next few years as the new fees bite and many parents recondsider their options.

Some of the most popular ones wilL also have children who have been listed on the waiting list since birth plus need to pass a 4plus assessment day to be accepted. So perhaps seeing where there are vacancies would be a good start.

@Propertyladder123 , unlikely in Surrey, the pre-prep sector is crying out for dc, if anything it's a risk they might close classes.
Most of the schools near the horrific m25 junction 10 roadworks haven't been helped in attracting new parents either, ie Notre Dame/Feltonfleet.
