Hi there I’d really appreciate your help please! We’re moving to Walton on Thames soon, will be renting but currently still trying to find somewhere. My 4 year old starts reception in Sept so it’s not an ideal time but really hoping we can move asap. Do you know which schools are good? Is Walton Oak good? And Ashley? I never had a chance to have a look myself I’d be grateful for some help. Thank you :)

It will be a question of whether schools have a place. In the Foundation stage, Infant Class Size means that classes can’t take more than 30 per class, unless a child has an EHCP.

Hi @tomoveor

My DS will be starting reception in September 2026 and I too am looking at the primary schools in Walton. Where did you decide on in the end and is your little one happy?

DS has speech delay which is making me really anxious about getting him into the right school.

I’ve been looking at Walton Oak, Grovelands, Bell Farm and Hurst Park Academy. Any information you share with me will be very much appreciated!
