Hi
Please review MHS . Son Will start reception this September.. not running after schools like city , Highgate etc. Even if he doesn't get through we are ok with decent private school.
Not a pushy mum but still feels academic is important .

Pls review this school
Thanks

The school is very much focused on prepping for the selective schools so naturally will be 'academic' whatever that means at that age. Would be much better if you had specific questions rather than a dismissive 'pls review'. There are also tons of posts on it here on MN.

I'd agree with the poster above, its a prep prep so its 7+ targetted school. People may mean different things when they say the school is academic but MH's curriculum will be a targeted prep so some topics may be more advanced than in some other preps as they target 7+ which cover topics above what is required by a standard curriculum. They will also have more homework than a standard prep school. I wouldn't personally choose any prep prep school unless you are targeting to join a highly selective school at 7+ entry or you have some other reason to join (like the location e.g., its closer to home) as i dont see any added benefit of 7+ prep unless you want to spend all your time and efforts during Y1 to prepare and pass that test to join highly-selective schools.
