Hi everyone. We're moving from abroad and really like this school. Our DD would join in the Reception year if we proceed.

I can see a lot of threads which seem to focus more on the later years - any views on the younger years and how the school is for juniors?

Is there a really rigorous interview / assessment at that age? It seems ridiculously young!

There has been a drop in the birth rate and many families moved out of SW london during the pandemic so I don't think any of the pre-prep schools in the area are full apart from Danes Hill that has a particularly good head. I expect you are being welcomed with open arms by most of them. Others to consider include Feltonfleet or Rowan and Shrewsbury House pre prep in Claygate. Ask Claremont Fan how many dc in the nursery normally stay on for Reception and how many join as new.
