Hello everyone,
Were hoping to relocate to North Devon, near to Barnstaple or surrounding areas.
There are so many schools and without any local knowledge we are finding it hard to narrow down options.
I would really appreciate any advice about these school, which are best to consider, have the best reputation ect.
Thanks so much in advance :-)

north Devon is quite a big area - takes about 1.5 hours to travel from Welcombe to Lynton… do you have any idea of where you’re looking?

Sorry! Just re read your post and saw you had said Barnstaple! I had opened the box to reply then had to answer the phone & obviously forgot the details…

are you looking for an in year admission?

Squishmallow2 · 04/03/2024 16:46

Hello,
It will most likely be an in year admission, yes. I doubt we will be able to time the move perfectly to be during the school holiday. Although that would be lovely.
Thanks.

And are you renting, do you have a house you are buying?

Squishmallow2 · 04/03/2024 18:06

We are buying and looking at Barnstaple. We can see there are lots of estates surrounding the town each with their own or nearby schools and are thinking to narrow the search based upon school prospects.

Do you mean Roundswell, Fremington, Sticklepath?
