Alternative schools in London

Hi there,

Does anyone know of primary schools in London that take a more alternative, nurturing approach - more like a small school or Montessori (we don't think Steiner is for us) - ideally non-fee paying but otherwise no more than £8000 a year?

Our 8 year old has really bad anxiety and not great self esteem after his experience at his last school and we think he just needs a more relaxed environment where there's more attention given to the child as an individual. So far I've found Educare in Kingston and the New School in West Norwood (though this seems to be fully booked) but struggling to find anything else.

Any suggestions very much appreciated!

Dallington in Islington, Rosemary Works, Bethnal Green Montessori. Fees will be higher though.
