NLCS vs Highgate

Hi all my DD has been offered a place in NLCS .She is an excellent at studies as well loves her music, sports and drama classes.Considering NlCS reputation of being very academically focussed was wondering if she will miss out on other things like sports.
We are a bit worried on the pressure if she can cope at NLCS given their reputation.
Also DD is slightly shy and very soft spoken. We also have an offer from Highgate which we are considering.
With all this in mind was wondering if NLCS is the right fit for her? Would love to hear some feedback from NLCS parents.

Bump!

Would love any current parents' views here. We have to make our decision by Wednesday and are very confused - any help would be much appreciated!

What ages is your daughter? My child was quite shy in year 6 and NLCS has made her very confident. She hasn’t struggled with the work at all at NLCS, she’s year 11 now and homework is fine, NLCS has a team and a club for most sports, lacrosse, netball, football, tennis, badminton, swim, water polo and ski. Both a good schools.
I like the senior building and space offered at HIghgate less than the junior space and some of the classrooms we visited were very small

My daughter is now in Year 8. Students have so many opportunities to take part in sports, music and other enrichment activities. Homework and work load is fine. NLCS had top GCSE results last summer. Personally I love that school.

My daughter is in Year 7 at NLCS ( also had an offer at Highgate). She joined in Year 3. Homework absolutely fine and she has grown so much in confidence. She is very sporty and part of a lovely crowd of sporty girls with lacrosse or netball fixtures most weeks. She's starting to show an interest in boys and I'm so grateful she will be kept innocent for a little longer whilst free to be herself and speak out in class. The drama and music are off the scale. You miss out on nothing other than the boys and we don't regret our decision at all

Hi my Dd will be looking for an occasional space at NLCS. She is academic but very sensitive and dorsn't do well under pressure. Do you think it would be the right school for her?
