Worthing primary schools?

I would be really grateful if anyone could offer advice on primary schools in Worthing. My daughter will be starting Year 1 in the autumn and we are planning on moving to Worthing in the summer holidays! Any insight on which local schools to target would be gratefully received.

I would strongly advise visiting some of the schools first, if possible. Bear in mind some of the primary schools in Worthing are very large: Thomas A'Becket and West Park - although both those schools seem to generally have a good reputation. I would avoid Heene Primary, Elm Grove and Chesswood School, a lot of political problems and upheaval in those schools. St Mary's is small but Catholic, so you may not be comfortable with that.

There’s a Worthing mums and dad’s Facebook group which always has loads of info about schools if you ask to
join and search about schools. It’s called WoMADs I think.

It also depends on where you are moving too. Luckily reception seems to currently not be full in many schools- so year 1 in September should allow you some choice!
