Anyone know where DS (8 y.o.) can find out about the history of chinese food?

His class have been set a holiday project about china. He has decided to focus on food (a subject close to his heart).

In order to pad out his menu, he needs to find out where it all came from, and maybe a recipe or two.

Anyone know of any resources please?

Do you mean the history of food in China, or the history of chinese food/restaurants in other countries? May turn up different results IYSWIM

This has a some info, and good links on the left, though may be too old for your ds by himself. Will try to think of a more child friendly site - would probably be a Geography based education thing.
