Any parents with children who go to this school on here?

I know Steiner gets a bashing on mumsnet! But interested in this school. Gets a decent ofsted and it’s very, very close to where we live.

What do parents think? If you’re not a culty person, would you still like it?

Do your children watch tv / play video games? (I know Steiner is anti tech, one thing that puts me off.)

I really like the creative side of it though.

Interested to hear opinions of this specific school, rather than general Steiner opinions, as I know they can be v negative on here.

I’m certainly not a ‘culty’ person and had never heard about Waldorf/Steiner schools until last year. Tbh, none of the parents I’ve met there seem to culty. But I suppose it depends what you mean by culty?

I haven’t met any kids there that are tech free.. most have phones in upper school which they hand in to school in the morning.

my daughter watches tv (weekends) and has a tablet.

I would recommend going to an open day to see in person, good luck 😊
