Ibstock year 4 occasional place test

Hello,

Does anyone have experience with Ibstock place school occasional place test for yer 4? We were told that my child will sit SATs test in January and it would be very helpful if someone has experience with this exam in Ibstock and the level of difficulty. Many thanks.

@Graceevans if you move over to the secondary education section and search on 11plus entrance exams you will see the recent IB 11plus exam used an Atom style test. I would sign up to Atom for the relevant age group and practice this way. Whether you get a place will be mainly based on how many spaces they have and the ability of the dc your dc is competing against.

Thanks. I know that the pre-assessment test for 11+ at Ibstock was Atom, but the actual test was long answers for both maths and English. Test papers for in year intake take are different.

Perhaps ask the school? I know someone who has done in year transfer to a private school and they did a CATs test.
