Hi, we have just moved to Sutton Coldfield and my kids got offers from Twickenham Primary School since the rest are all full. I am new to the area, know nothing abt the schools here. Anyone has any comment abt Twickenham Primary School (B44)? Thanks !!

Hi, we’re thinking about making a move to Sutton too but are scared about not getting our 6 year old into any schools, did you apply to lots? Should we think again with the waiting lists? I’d love to hear how you got on.

Hi PMizzy, my 9yr old girl got an offer real quick like a few weeks. And my 7 yr old boy got an offer in 2 months too. They are now going to the same school with a short walking distance. I had been told by the council to apply all the schools within 3miles in the very beginning to increase the chance. I wish u the same good luck.

That's really encouraging to hear, thank you. So guessing you ended up with them at Twickenham Primary? Looks good. I was thinking if we made sure we were really close to one of the bigger primaries (Boldmere?) there'd be more movement on the waiting list but it's so hard to tell. My younger one is applying for reception next year so that'll help eventually if we're still struggling by then. Can't see many primaries across the whole area that don't look good.
