Cranmer Primary school or Harris junior academy reviews?

Does anyone have any suggestions or opinions regarding the Cranmer Primary school and Harris Junior academy school in Sutton? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks much!

Name changed for this. My daughter goes to HJAC. We are happy with it. They seem to have high aspirations academically and a reasonable amount of fun too. I have visited Cranmer for work and it seemed like a nice school but can't really comment. Have you moved and been offered a space at these schools? They are not that close, so not many will be able to directly compare.

@CarshaltonMum Thank you so much for your feedback. I have been getting mixed reviews on HJAC but your inputs really help since you have your child going there. Yeah, Cranmer seems good but haven't received any feedback on the school so I'm not sure about it. I'm still to fill up the form and submit to the council and wanted some suggestions before I put down the name for 6 schools. Thanks again for your response.

HJAC has had a mixed time the last few years. They didn't have a permanent head. The current head started in Sept 2022 and seems great. The people I speak to are happy with the school now. Good luck deciding!

Cranmer is in Merton. I've no experience of either but I'm wondering where you live if these are the schools you're considering? Unlikely to be in catchment for both. There are other Sutton schools with a good reputation in between eg. Hackbridge, Muschamp, Rushy Meadow....
