Easter bonnet query...help!

I have been told to "make" an Easter bonnet for ds aged 7 for an Easter parade. Have no experience in this...where do I start? Any advice would be gratefully recieved. Thanks.

Lots of places do kits: EL, Wolworths, PoundLand, etc.

I put rabbits we made with cotton wool and cardboard onto a hat, added some daffodils. Looked very cute. Here's the link (I didn't use the Marshmallows):www.kidsdomain.com/craft/rabbit.html
