Bit scared .. will he bite

I am having a meeting with my child’s headmaster. I’m scared .. not really spoken to him other than hello/ goodbye etc
Is it normal to be nervous of the head? What are others relationships with school heads like?
I feel like I am back at school myself and don’t want to embarrass myself. It’s primary btw

He is just a man with a job. You are not the pupil although a lot of people feel like they are. Hopefully you both want the same outcome from the meeting. Take a pen and notepad so you can jot stuff down that he says and have any concerns/questions written down and you can tick them off to know you have asked everything you want.

Headteachers are just like anyone else but with a lot more responsibility and a bigger paycheque than the average person 🤷‍♀️.
My child's headteacher is one of the most approachable,knowledgeable and funny people I've ever met and we love to rib each other 🤣

That’s great to hear , we are new to the school so I guess I just need to get to know him more.
