DD(8) is in Year 4 and about half way through Book C. I've seen lots of fairly old threads about starting A&P but I wondered at what point people stop. Do we need to carry on to Book D? It's taking lots of bribes at the moment, and tbh we could all do with the time back in our lives, but... it's obviously working. Is there an approximate correlation of book level to year group? From what I've seen Books 1 and 2 are for KS1, so we needed to do that, but if we stop at Book C is that roughly where she should be for Year 4? Thanks!

I feel your pain. Tbh I can't help because DS is 20 now and I can't think back that far....
I remember the bribes....
If it helps, DS got 2A stars and 2 As at A level and he wasn't officially diagnosed with dyslexia until he was 16. So I think it really did make a difference

Wow! Well done him! That's really good to hear. I relayed that back to DD, which did help with today's battle at least. Presume you went all the way through to book D?

Did you continue? We are just starting C and seeing improvements, equally I’m not sure if book D will get her to the specified year 5 spelling level…?
