Help please. Anyone with experience of primary schools in Calverley, Leeds?

Title says it all really. Thinking about moving there and would like some opinions outside OFSTED. Ta muchly....

Give me the names of the schools you are looking at and I will ask my sis who is a primary teacher nearby (but prob out of your catchment area).

I think the c of e school is meant to be ok. Don't know much more though. try the ofsted website.

If its any help at ALL, I attended Calverley Parkside 25 years ago and loved it!

Sis couldn't help much. She hasn't heard anything bad about either school, but hasn't heard that they are fabulous either. A teacher she knows sends her daughter to Parkside, so that might suggest that Parkside is the better school. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Sis is on Mat Leave at moment, otherwise she would ask at school!

Thanks for trying. OFSTED reports are not overwhelmingly positive for either school, but I'm not always sure how much weight to give these in the grand scheme of things as compared to personal experience. Thanks to your sis though!
