Do you like the academics program at Staines preparatory school ? How strong are they academically compared to other private schools in the Richmond, staines, twickenham, Hampton areas? Eg compared against Clarence House?

They pretty much prepare for the Slough grammar schools, so their academics are fine.

@CraftyGin I would be immensely grateful if u would pls shed some more light on their academic strengths and weaknesses please. Tell me anything / everything you can. My biggest dilemma is if it's worth putting DD in Staines prep school or just keep her in a slightly decent state school :( so far my state school experience has been horrible (Feltham)

Academically SPS don't aim too high. Teaching standards are not great. SPS is an average state school with added fees thats all. If your state school experience wasn't great then you won't find SPS any better - with the added burden of having to pay for the bad experience.

@Razzmata I know that this thread is old, but did you end up sending your child to SPS.? I have only ever heard good things about the school. I was considering sending my child.
@mummyrockz did you send your child there and have a bad experience?
