I'd be very grateful to hear any views on TRS - especially from parents of current or former children. Please message me privately if you'd prefer. Thanks so much in advance.

We’ve had two go through TR. It was a perfect school for our dc. It’s a family run school with Trevor Roberts family members as head and teachers through the school. It’s academically focused but they still have a mixed cohort so they have to support stronger kids and keep the less strong kids supported and push those kids to do their best. I think it helps that they start very young with higher maths and English standards and homework in year 2. I really think they are good at building the kids’ work ethic.
Music, drama and art are amazing. Lots of very talented little actors in their plays and amazing musicians. The school really supports music and drama a lot. Sport is fine. It seems to have got an undeserved reputation as not having sports. There is plenty IMO but I guess it is relative.

They teach Latin from year2 and continue it through and then Greek from year 7/8. I think that shows it is very focused on being a traditional prep school for places like Westminster. Roughly half the kids get into to the most competitive secondary schools and I think most get to their desired destinations. The last two years are a bit different. The school is teaching to the Common Entrance.
Anglicanism is light touch. I think they used to sing hymns in assembly. They are big on Christmas and parties. Parents are from diversity of faiths.
We see a lot of alumni kids coming back to visit. I think they do meet ups even years later. Overall, it was perfect for our kids.
