We are considering Liberty Woodland School for our child, I was wondering if anyone had any reviews on it?

Be careful,ofsted and check in Facebook some mum's are really unhappy

Gosh I’ve just seen that, unhappy parents are always a red flag. I also had no idea they had such a poor ofsted report which is worrying. I don’t think we will look at it based on this. Thank you very much for flagging x

From what I recall, a mum whose child was not accepted went on a big rant on Facebook about how awful it was. I think it was eventually taken down. My daughter goes to the associated nursery and we know parents whose kids are actually there, and they all seem very happy with it.

As for the Ofsted, according to the head, the inspection was done by someone who very much didn't buy into the forest school ethos. Despite being warned that it was a muddy site and appropriate footwear was warranted, she apparently turned up in formal heels and was irritated at having to trek through the mud. So it sounds like they didn't get a fair hearing. That Ofsted also relates to their old site in Worcester Park - I don't believe one has been done for the Morden site. They have had a good ISI report which is on their website I believe.

I recommend going to visit - it's hard to imagine until you see it!
