Can't find the one I was thinking of - it was just guidlines for parents.

this looks OK though - if a little dull

can I ask those of you who do extra work such as this at home with your child how you structire it, what kind of things you do, etc? thanks.

Leslaki · 01/03/2008 15:10

at slightly mad!!!!

When I do things at home with DCs we usually do it on a whiteboard so they can be the 'teachers' and they love it! Write up sums and get dd to show you how to do it. Alternativey use things out your kitchen cupboards - you know, there are 6 tins of beans and 3 children - how many tins can they get each? Once she gets concept show her how to write it up as a sum.

yes, mine love the (old-fashioned!) blackboard!

good idea for fractions...
