Easy button school shirts

Can anyone recommend easy button school shirts for a five going on six year old. He really struggles with opening and closing them, we try to practice but it’s not going too well. If there’s a make that’s particularly easy that would be a good start. Bonus points if you have actually used them, I can see some online but I prefer to buy ones where someone says that they have used them. Thanks!

Just leave them buttoned and pull over head like a jumper?

That could work, he has a fairly big head 😅 it’s more for when he’s in school as he has to get changed by himself for PE, and that’s when he’s getting stuck. At the moment I send him in a polo shirt those days, but I was hoping to find some easy button shirts so he can be practicing, as he has to get it eventually.

Buy short sleeved shirts ( not polos) then you don’t have to worry about sleeve buttons, and the cuffs always end up looking grimly anyway.

These are brilliant! My boys had them and as a teacher I see lots of children with them. They look like a button shirt, but have Velcro instead. They wash really well too.

I was going to say M&S do them.
But if you can sew, what I did for my dd who is missing a hand, is remove just the top button and put velcro. No one noticed.
