ATOM learning tests - help!!

Help! I am preparing my daughter for CAT4 tests. She does the tests on Aaron Learning, get 3 wrong (out of 15) which is 80% but then her CAT result is only 105 which isn’t high enough for the independent schools we are applying to.
it’s really weird - she excels in maths and English and has low CAT results even with 80% right.
am I missing something. Xx

The Atom Learning algorithm is not as simple as high % = high SAS score. It also considers how easy/hard the questions were and whether you got any easy questions wrong. It takes time to progress to the hard / high mark questions especially if you got any question wrong in the first ten.

Atom is not the best indicator of CAT scores tbh, DS used to get 110-117 on Atom but his actual CAT score was 134.
