Monster phonics for parents

My child is starting reception where they will be using monster phonics to learn to read. Is there any parent information for how to teach sounds to them as i wanted to help learn at home? I only know how to say the stretchy and bouncy sounds of RWI for the alphabet. Thank you.

A lot of schools will have a phonics parents meeting where they will go through it all with you and then also send resources home.

Also get your child watching alphablocks that will help with the sounds etc.......

You can find information on the Monster Phonics website and there are lots of things on YouTube too.

Miss Phonics on YouTube has made a Monster Phonics playlist with all the sounds in order for the first term - that might be helpful.
