Hi all, before we put our youngest son into Aldro can I please have your views and experiences of academic and sporty prep schools in the area. Must end at 13 with flexible boarding after year 5. Please help. We are in Godalming but happy to move not too far away.

Aldro is the top prep in the area as you probably know.

Aldro for sure. Lovely setting, recently modernised with addition of girls and a new head. Academically ambitious but also supportive and pastoral. Great fun. Very much a 13+ feeder. No brainier if you live in Godalming.

Cranmore has joined with local girls all through schools St Teresa's and Manor House and is no longer focused on 11+ or 13+ exit. Also hear very mixed things about the school.

Thank you ever so much, was nearly fooled by Cranmore but Aldro seems to get consistently good feedback. Thank you so much. 💐💐💐
