Translating a school report

Child is in Year 3.
Depth of Learning on report states 3.4.
GDS which I do know means Greater Depth.
No explanation given.
What does this mean please? Does the .4 mean into the 4th year?? 💁

@Translatingschoolreport there should be a letter with it explaining the report and if there isn't ask the school for clarification. You can't be the only parent to wonder at the report. For both primary and secondary ours always came with a letter of explanation as to what the codes meant, where they were at etc.

It explains the .1, .2 and .3 but not the .4 and we’ve not had a .4 before.

I have looked back through all previous correspondence and it’s the same explanation, never mentions the .4
