French app / device for nine year old to learn at home.

I am looking for an app / program to help my nine year old learn French.
He doesn't seem to learn much French at school and isn't exactly enthusiastic.

There are many apps out there but some appear for much younger children while others seem to be for a more adult audience.

I am looking for something with structure: starting with the basics and progressing. Ideally "real world" examples that might actually be useful e.g. "Where is the cafe?" or "I like chocolate." Sentences we can use at home or when outside in our daily lives.

I don't mind paying and I don't mind if the program is for Windows, Android, or Apple devices.

All suggestions gratefully received! Thank you.

My school uses Linguascope which is very good but I don’t know how much it costs. There might be a way to sign up as an individual.
