Ashmole Primary School / Monkfrith Primary School N14

My DD has been accepted to both Ashmole and Monkfrith in Southgate. I know that both are very good schools hence I want to make sure I make the right decision for my DD. I am eager to hear about the anyone's experiences with the school. Do your kids enjoy the school? Does anyone have experience with their SENCO and what do you think of it? Thanks a lot for anyone's input much appreciated.

We r ashmole parents. Its a feeder school for the secondary. No experience with the senco personally. Huge emphasis on respect for teachers and each other. It's a nurturing environment. The children seem genuinely happy there. It's great for us as we r a 5 min walk away.

If the send provision is important to your decision, book a meeting with sencos at both schools and gauge what feels a best fit. We only put down 2 schools on our application. Ashmole and walker. Grateful to get our top choice.

Having Ashmole secondary later on is plus I think.
