Does anyone have any recent feedback or experience on St Anthony’s school for Boys in Hampstead? We are considering this school for our DS and it is hard to find any feedback since the new headmaster (who seems great) took over in 2021 during the pandemic. Any feedback of experience would be appreciated! Thanks!

Bumping this once more just to see if anyone has any thoughts on the new owner and how that might impact the boys school + girls school changing to coed and different name. Thanks!

we've heard great things about it and the new head!

Is there to be a new head at the boys school?

Yes! I have two boys (yr6 and 4) with another joint in Reception next year.
A great school. Firstly and most importantly the boys are kind and happy. Secondly under the new head it’s far more academic and gets great results year on year in terms of secondary school places. I have two very different boys at the school currently and it caters for both. One sporty and one academic. But they are all stretched, and my sporty one has gone for bottom set in maths to top set under the school’s stewardship. So happy all round.

@RCMu thanks so much for your response....that is great to hear you have very happy boys there!
Just to confirm... there will not be a new head taking over for Mr. Berlie... right? You mean that HE is the new head (I believe he joined during Covid?) We are drawn to this school because it does seem the boys are kind AND Mr. Berlie seems fantastic when we have visited.

Sorry, yes Richard Berlie will still be there and took over from Paul Keyte during Covid. So I refer to him as the new head but he actually isn’t so new now! Boys are happy and kind and Richard understands how to get the best out of the boys, as do the excellent staff.
