What do these GL scores mean please?

They are just there as numbers on the school report with no context. I've tried Google but it all seems confusing.

English 108
Maths 134

They look like standardised scores, so whichever cohort they were standardised against, your DC is on the upper side of average for English and well towards the upper end for Maths (the upper limit of the range of scores is usually 140 / 141 - c.68% of scores normally fall between c.85 and c.115).

Agree with the poster above, almost certainly standardised age scores. The average is 100, so good in English, very good in maths. But you should ask the school for more context if you're unsure.

Thank you that gives me some idea. He's certainly better at maths so that makes sense. He's not quite top in his year but I'd say he's good. However he also has dyspraxia and borderline dyslexia which explains the disparity in scores
