We are considering Rowan prep for our 9 year old daughter for the last few years of her primary education. We've heard many good things about the school but also read on here that most people have tutors to get through the 11+ which definitely isn't something we want to do if it is true.

We don't know which schools we'd be aiming for yet but perhaps GHS, SWPS and Tormead.

It would be great to hear people's views on the school and the prep for 11 +.

My daughter left Rowan a few years ago. It is a non selective school at entry, so there is a large range of abilities. Some girls were capable to receive offers without a tutor and others required tutoring. The range of schools the girls exit too is large. The competition for places at these school varies enormously. In my experience all of the girls prepared both at school and in their own time with support from workbooks, Apps, parents and/or tutors.
