headteacher form along with school move application to council.

We spoke to Dy. Head teacher today about the form for us to attach with school move application in cambridgeshire. HT said, we should make the application and council forward it to school for the approval. Is that right or we should ask Dy. Head teacher one more time.

I think you are referring to the Student Detail Form. The information on Cambridgeshire's website says you are right - it says the completed form must be attached to your in-year application and that they won't process your application without this form. The form itself says that it must be returned to the parents. However, this is a blatant breach of the Admissions Code. They cannot make a transfer conditional on the approval of the child's current school.

Not sure which bit of my post you are asking about. If it is the form, provided the form you are looking at is headed Student Detail Form, it is the same. If it is a different form, it may be different. The bit about the Admissions Code is definitely the same.
