Has anyone got any positive experience with PGS junior school? My DD is starting in September and feeling slightly nervous having heard some feedback 🫣

Not for the junior school but several in the senior school - really positive experiences. Must of the kids will be the same, but I don't know about the teachers in junior.

I used to live local to Portsmouth and when i worked as a nanny my charges went to PGS

I thought it was fantastic

I worked for a few families and was familiar with several other independant schools in the area (though we are talking 12 years ago now)

I have a good school friend who sends her children there, one is y5 and the other a bit older in seniors but they have been there since reception.

I now live over 200 miles away so my children attend an independant school where I live, BUT if I moved back (and we might) it would be my first choice school for my children.

(In the very highly unlikely event both me and my husband die, and my sister inherits the care of my children, which would require them to move back to Hampshire she knows that I would like them to continue their education at Portsmouth Grammar School. (really hope that scenario doesnt ever happen))
