I would love to hear feedback on this school. I’m considering this school for my son when he finishes year two at his infant school.
I would love to know how many places are available at this age (7+ entry) and how likely it is to secure a place as I can see they have 40 children in year 2 and 40 children in year 3 which makes me think there are very few places at this point of entry.

It's clear on the website that it's a small number of places. I would try and move your ds as soon as possible if you are keen.

We applied for a 7+ place in December (for a year 2 place in Sept 2023) and didn't get in. There were 6 places available and 17 children applying. My son was tested on things he hadn't learnt at his state infant school sadly. We'll be trying for an 11+ place but just be aware that even at a young age (we found) it to be quite tough.

*Sorry meant year 3 place in Sept 2023

Hearing great things about this school from a work colleague. Seems up and coming especially with people moving out of London

Both of my children went to the Prep (they're now in years 7 & 9 at the senior school). We moved the older one for year 6 and the younger one for year 5 as sadly neither came close to thriving in our local state school. I'd say the Prep is the perfect school. Without losing sight of the need to prepare the children academically for senior school, it also inspired and encouraged them in so many other ways. The staff are amazing and my children absolutely loved it, and really, thrived there.
